With endless forest trails and rugged Moreland just moments from the doorstep of the B&B, the surrounding area is just right for avid cyclists and walkers. The residence is also on the spectacular coastal touring route of The Wild Atlantic Way. This remarkable coastal route stretches for 1500 miles along Ireland’s dramatic western seaboard taking in some of the most enchanting scenery, where land and sea collide. The Wild Atlantic Way is the only long distance marked driving and cycling route in Ireland, nestled along the magnificent Atlantic coast all the way from West Cork in the South to Derry in Northern Ireland. So whether you wish to explore the fascinating West of Ireland on foor, bicycle or motor bike you will have an abundance of touring routes to discover. Kevin is also a keen motor cyclist and will be more than happy to offer his advice on local routes.
After an enjoyable day of fishing or sight seeing, all visitors can relax and enjoy Irish hospitality at its best. Ballina is a lively town, providing a wide cariety of well-acclaimed bars and restaurants and entertainment from discos, traditional music to jazz and it is just three miles away.
Guests are also welcome to relax in the residence’s TV and reading room (tea/coffee freely available on request) or avail of the large paved patio which is surrounded by landscaped gardens during the warmer months.
